Oh man, talk about a reference a lot of readers might be too young to get. >.> When I was a little derp, this was one of my favoritest songs ever. And when I decided I wanted to do a cutesey serenade type comic before ROBOT FIGHT CLUB starts, it immediately popped into my head.

If you don't know the song, YouTube "The Longest Time" by Billy Joel, and prepare to get yanked back into the 80s!

Big thanks to everyone that contributed to the Wootlabs Patreon in June. It's a new month, so if you'd like to contribute please visit the link! Every dollar you pledge helps a strugglin' independent artist, and pushes us closer to two comics a week!

This... ...made me think they were older than I thought. So I had to double check!

I heard that song every night when I worked at a local grocery store. Took me awhile to place the song though.

I'm old enough. I got the ref. But it made me feel old getting it...

@Chaos Master, You have the coolest avatar I've ever seen.

@ElectricGecko, I was listening to an oldies station on Pandora and it popped up. :/ Oldies stations are supposed to be for Franki Valli and the Temptations, not stuff that came out when I was alive.

... Dontcha hate how they think some of our songs are now oldies?!

I am less than 18, and Billy Joel is one of my favorite artists. There is no such thing as an 'old' reference.
